The DualScan Prime Thermometer is everything that you would hope for in a digital thermometer – ease of use, accuracy and reliability. And here we are stressing ease of use! To test the temperature of food, hold the thermometer a half-inch away, and press the button. For foreheads, hold the thermometer up to the forehead, and press the button. For ears, remove the Forehead Probe Cover, gently slide the thermometer into the ear canal and press the button. Easy.
We used the DualScan Prime a number of times and saw no breakdown in durability. The Forehead Probe Cover easily comes off and back on, and doesn’t feel flimsy or breakable. Mobi even includes instructions on how to carefully clean the tip of the thermometer when needed.
When it comes to tools for health we want things that aren’t going to scare little ones…not much more than that. However, with the DualScan Prime you can show your little ones how to take your temperature, the temperature of food, and even their own temperature (for practice). The DualScan Prime isn’t intimidating, and isn’t going to scare your little ones when you need to get their temperature quickly.
Scan a child’s head or ear for temperature, scan any food item for temperature, in one convenient package. We couldn’t ask for any more functionality than that (unless of course this thermometer could give our kids medicine when they don’t want to take it!).
The suggested retail price of the DualScan Prime is $29.95. That isn’t your quick drugstore pick-up, but rather an investment in your kid’s well-being. And an investment that is going to last at that. With a price under $30, we feel that you are definitely getting your money’s worth with this purchase.
There are plenty of digital thermometers out on the market…and some with a few features…but we haven’t come across many that pack in as many as the DualScan Prime. The MobiHealth team obviously put a lot of thought in developing this thermometer – and didn’t just come to market with a single-function unit. Nice originality!
Overall we found plenty to like about the DualScan Prime Digital Thermometer from Mobi…and we didn’t find anything we didn’t like. Unlike other digital thermometers out there, the DualScan is easy to use, and we found it durable. From a function perspective the DualScan can’t be beat, and the pricing is more than fair. When it’s time to step up the tools in your medicine cabinet, the DualScan Prime Digital Thermometer from Mobi is an excellent choice!
